Okay, I'm sure you are wondering why I've posted a picture of a pair of overalls. Well, I'll start from the beginning. Mary Kahlen's birthday is coming up on January 25th. Her party theme, of course, is Princess...I mean, was there a question??? Okay, so I began my search for a birthday party outfit. I found a pair of overalls that I fell in love with, but the price...not so much. $75 was a little extreme. So, I decided that I could make my little princess her own party outfit. Yes, that is what I decided. Now, for those of you who do not know. I made a C in Home Economics, why? you may ask, well, because my vest only had one arm hole and I had to model it. Needless to say, I had a difficult time keeping it on and my teacher had a difficult time believing I made it that way on purpose! So, I ventured out to find the perfect material...and I did. As you can see, I did finish the overalls. The material is chenille, which is so soft, and the ribbon, which I'm not sure if you can tell or not, says "princess" and has crowns all over it. So, for my second actually sewing project, I think I did pretty well. Any orders??? That will be $75 please. :)
